Reservations started for the ski courses organized by the R&J Ski School in Poiana Brasov for the 2023 - 2024 season, ski lessons for beginners will be held on the area near the school center and the Bradul slope (next to the Capra Neagra cable car) and the advanced ones will be on the Postavarul Massif.
Ski & Snowboard School in Poiana Brasov:
1. Between : December 1st 2023 - January 17th 2024 ; January 30th - February 28th 2024 & end of the week December 1st , 2023 - April 30th , 2024
- 1 hr / person: 130 lei ( group 4 + )
- 1 hr / person: 140 lei ( 2-3 pers. same level and age )
- 1 hr / person: 150 lei ( private lesson )
*** rate does not include ski / snowboard equipment and cable transport (for students and instructors)
- The schedule for ski or snowboard lessons is: 9.00 - 11.00, 11.30 - 13.30, 14.00 - 16.00.
- On request, ski lessons can be 3 or 4 hours a day with a break after the first 2 hours of skiing.
2. Between : January 18th - January 29th 2024 ; March 01th - April 30th 2024 ( from Monday--- Friday )
- 1 hr / person: 100 lei ( group 4+ )
- 1 hr / 3 persons: 120 lei / person
- 1 hr / 2 persons: 130 lei / person
- 1 hr / person: 150 lei

- The advantage of private classes is that students return rate is at highest level due to the fact that the ski instructor focuses his/her entire attention on one student (maximum two), the learning time is shorter, the learner’s attention being higher, thus the quality of service is at a maximum rate.

" De doi ani schiem cu echipa de la R&J Ski School & Ski Rental, i-am ales in februarie 2022 pur si simplu cautand pe internet, nu ii cunosteam si nu erau recomandati de vreun cunoscut, am riscat :) dar am castigat din plin. Sunt foarte multumita de serviciile oferite, e o echipa de profesionisti din toate punctele de vedere, de la rezervarea facuta online si mai ales respectarea programului agreat, echipamentul de schi oferit pentru fiecare membru al familiei plus echipa de monitori care este profesionista si serioasa. Eu m-am apucat de schi foarte tarziu(ca varsta) implicit cu mari emotii, emotii pe care am reusit sa le depasesc cu ajutorul lui Adi, cel cu care am invatat sa schiesez, il recomand din suflet ca si monitor de schi. Fiul meu a invatat sa schieze cu alti doi membri ai echipei R&J Ski School, cu Gino si Nicu cu care s-a inteles foarte bine si care l-ai ajutat sa invete sa schieze. In cei 2 ani am reusit sub indrumarea monitorilor Adi, Gino si Nicu, sa invatam sa shiem. We've been returning to R&J Ski School for years now, my son started here when he was 4 and a half.
I myself took a some lessons for a couple years, to improve my skills.
We've been working with most of their instructors, all different, all wonderful, joyful people, with great teaching skills.
I have realised I had never left a review before, now that my son is almost turning 8 and his favorite thing in life so far is skiing in their company. We're grateful for their professionalism, for their care and attention (they never failed to accommodate his needs, though he is suffering from a severe allergy and asthma), for their great communication skills and flexibility, for all the knowledge they shared from skiing to taking care of the equipment...

" We have a marvellous time and Gino our sky teacher was just amazing . The experience was great and we definitely will go back.
The only thing we did not quite like is that it states the lessons are one hour . The school did not mention that in fact is only fifty minutes as every hour there is a 10 minutes break . Fair enough. But I think it should be mention that. We were starting late (eg: for 2 hour clases 20 minutes late , or 3 hours clases finishing thirty minutes early)or finishing early and when we asked they explained that . Also when you use the sky pass you will pay your teacher pass as well. " My ski lessons with Adi were simply amazing. I thought he taught me a lot in our 4 sessions, and helped me improve my skills and confidence – I couldn’t believe the slopes I’ve been on by the end! I felt really safe and had a lot of fun during my lessons. I couldn’t be happier and can’t wait to be back and ski with him again! My 8 year old cousin who has never skied before also had 2 lessons with Bogdan – he was extremely patient and caring with her, and she absolutely loved them! Two day later she won’t stop talking about how wonderful it was. Finally, the organizing part was so easy and the ski school took care of every detail for us (great communication in advance, rent all the gear, transport to/from slope, re-re-scheduling lessons to suit our needs, even let me borrow gloves when I forgot mine). I also found the prices more than reasonable. The whole team was really professional, very friendly and wonderful to be around.
